Trumpet player Marvin McFadden coming to Jazz Ensemble

The Merced College Jazz Ensemble will present its Spring 2023 concert on May 12, starting at 7:30 p.m., inside the Merced College Theater.
The show will be directed by Ken Taylor, and will feature guest artist Marvin McFadden, the well-known and talented Trumpet from Huey Lewis and the News.
Tickets can be bought at the door, or online at mccd.tix.com. General Admission is $12. Seniors, Students, and Military members can enter at a discounted ticket cost of $10.
The evening will feature outstanding musicians playing a wide range of Jazz tunes; including: Chameleon by Maynard Ferguson, Machine by Buddy Rich, Just Friends by Rob McConnell just to name a few.
They will also feature vocalist Kandyce, Brad, Rich and Angel doing such tunes as My Way, A Foggy Day, Avalon, Rock this town and many others.
This is a big band that you won’t want to miss playing classic jazz, Latin, Modern jazz and standards.
It will be a night where you can kick back, relax, and let the music wash over you.
