As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, there are 3,906 confirmed cases (+143 from Tuesday) of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Merced County. Approximately 1,646 of those cases are active, and 35 have died.

As of July 29, a total of 25,555 tests have been performed in Merced County: 3,906 of those

tests are confirmed as positive cases.

In California, there are 466,550 confirmed cases and 8,518 deaths (as of July 27).
