Rebecca Sweet, a landscape designer, author and lifelong gardener will be speaking at the Merced Garden Club’s annual Tea on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m., at the Fish & Game building, at Lake Yosemite.
Sweet’s gardens have been featured in Sunset magazine, Fine Gardening, Woman’s Day, American Gardener and Garden Gate. She has been a guest on the critically acclaimed PBS series “Growing a Greener World.” She has been a speaker at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show, as well as the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle. Sh is also the author of Refresh Your Garden, design with color, text and form.
Her program for Merced Garden Club will be “When and How to break the rules.” (To achieve a glorious garden.)
