Halloween Dance Party rocks the haunted house

Members of the Merced County Special Needs community, and their friends and family members, gathered at the Merced Senior Community Center last Friday for the 2022 Halloween Dance Party.

The event is sponsored every year by the Merced County Parks and Recreation and organized by Director Michael Sanchez.

Sanchez received help from volunteer students from Atwater and Merced high schools, as well as UC Merced.

They provided participants of all ages a wonderful Halloween dance, a costume contest, a raffle, prizes and snacks. And it was all free.
