Vista Ranch & Cellars promising great July shows

Scott Patrick and Jaclyn Lovey will perform on the evening of July 20 at the Vista Summer Concert at Vista Ranch & Cellars, located at 7326 E. Highway 140 in Merced.

It will be a time to enjoy great music and a relaxing atmosphere while taking in the scenic view at the vineyard.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

For the July 20 concert, the doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and as guests relax on the lawn under the oaks, headliner Patrick will open at 6:00 p.m.

The second act will be Jaclyn Lovey, who performed on “The Voice”.

According to Katelyn Grinder, Vista Ranch Event Coordinator, Patrick is an Indie-folk/country artist from the Sierra Nevada foothills.  He is a founding member and former vocalist with Cottonwood Creek, which was a local high energy Americana/country/folk duo.

Grinder said, “Jaclyn Lovey is a singer/songwriter who has been involved in music since she was 9-years-old.  She recorded her first studio album in 2015 at the age of 14 with producer and Australian Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Chambers.  She also appeared on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ at the age of 16.”

Tickets can be purchased for $10 apiece in advance by going online to www.vistacellars.com and clicking on “Summer Concert”.

In addition to the summer concert, Vista Ranch is hosting a summer concert series which in July, will include Gail and Mike on July 11 who do blues and Indie folk/rock, Roger Perry on July 12, a jazz, blues and country musician, John Albano on July 18, who also does jazz, blues and country, Evening Edition on July 19, a jazz and blues band, Soul Galaxy on July 25 which does folk, jazz and blues music, and Mikel Soria Jazz Trio on July 26 which will perform jazz and blues.

Besides the Summer Concert Series, Vista Summer Nights, featuring live music, beer and wine, and wood-fired pizzas, takes place every Thursday and Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. through the end of August.

Vista also offers a classic car show every third Thursday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m.

Wine tasting is available every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
