Printmakers celebrate ‘California Centered’ exhibit in Merced

Residents filled the Merced Multicultural Arts Center last Saturday evening as the 13th annual California Centered: Printmaking exhibit opened an artists reception to the public.

Each year the juried show brings together several dozen of California’s best printmakers, with this year’s exhibit featuring well over 100 works of art.

The show will remain on display at the Arts Center, located at 645 W. Main Street in downtown Merced, until June 1.

Those who weren’t able to attend Saturday evening’s reception are able to view the art by stopping by the Arts Center Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

For more information, contact the Arts Center by calling 388-1090 or going online at: ArtsMerced.org.
