Cases rise 129 from yesterday; 1330 considered "active"

Today, the Merced County Department of Public Health confirmed one additional death related to COVID-19:

• As of 5 p.m. Thursday, July 23, there are 3,123 confirmed cases (+129 from Wednesday) of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Merced County. Approximately 1,330 of those cases are active, and 27 have died.

In California, there are 418,964 confirmed cases and 8,031 deaths.

• As of July 23, a total of 22,839 tests have been performed in Merced County: 3,123 of those

tests have been confirmed as positive cases.
