A Holiday Gift For Students

The Merced Elks Lodge donated $25 grocery gift cards in a total amount of $8,050 for local students with special needs on Dec. 9.

The Merced Elks presented the grocery gift cards with drug awareness information to the educational staff at Merced County Office of Education and the Merced Union High School District, and the staff distributed the cards with information to the students.

Funding for this project was provided by the Elks National Foundation to assist with decreasing food insecurities.
