Downtown Neighborhood group organizing Stakeholders Summit
The Downtown Neighborhood Association in Merced will be holding its “Downtown Stakeholders Summit” on April 12, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Five Ten Bistro on Bob Hart Square.
The keynote speaker will be Dawn Golik, district director of the Fresno office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Merced Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) recognizes that many organizations are interested in the downtown area. Together with the Merced Main Street Association (MMSA), members want to learn about your work, your goals, and how you can collaborate for the betterment of town.
As many of residents are unaware of what other groups are doing, they may be missing opportunities to share knowledge and resources. For this reason, DNA is hosting this Downtown Stakeholders Summit: Collaboration Networking.
Anyone with projects that are focused downtown is encouraged to inform the association about their organization at this Summit. Please share this form with other groups we may have missed in our outreach.
If you wish to spotlight your organization, please come prepared to describe your work briefly. Share your purposes, goals, and a glimpse at your current projects Speaking time will depend on number of participants but will likely be around 5-10 minutes at maximum. You are not required to speak. Bring any flyers, brochures, and/or contact cards to connect with other participants.
