Oktoberfest returns Oct. 8 to support Camp Green Meadows
Merced County Education Foundation (MCEF) will host the annual Oktoberfest Fundraiser on Oct. 8 at the MCOE Downtown Center, 1715 Canal St. Merced.
The annual fundraising event helps support programs like outdoor education at Camp Green Meadows, Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and College & Career scholarships for students throughout Merced County.
“We are excited to be back in person and share all the great work the MCE Foundation has accomplished to support experiences outside the classroom for Merced County students,” said Merced County Education Foundation Executive Director Stacie Arancibia. “Camp Green Meadows Outdoor School turns 60 this year and we want to be sure that outdoor education and other important programs continue for generations to come.”
MCEF invites the community to the annual Oktoberfest Fundraiser in support of MCEF programs.
Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner, a commemorative mug and drink. Sponsor tables are also available for groups of eight and range from $750-$2500 per table. View all ticket options at www.bit.ly/mcefoktoberfest22.
Title sponsors include Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU), The Hate Dust Project, Merced School Employees Federal Credit Union (MSEFCU) and Tinetti Realty Group. Tinetti Realty group has also committed to matching donations up to $10,000.
The Merced County Education Foundation seeks to expand the horizon for Merced County students through meaningful educational experiences outside of the classroom. Last year’s drive-thru event raised more than $16,000 for MCEF programs.
