Small groups of fortunate, sophisticated and fun-loving residents last weekend enjoyed the joy of friendship with the warmest and most intimate of celebrations — a tea party at the Merced County Courthouse Museum.
The 24th annual Tea Party in the Courtroom featured lots of lovely ladies wearing fancy hats, darling young girls who brought their own dolls along, and lots of treats including Twirly Top Cookies, Cream Scones, Shrimp Sandwiches, Caprese Salad Skewers, among others.
The event was hosted by the local Historical Society, and many of the members made the delicious treats, and served the tea.
