The Merced Union High School District (MUHSD) has announced a new addition to the administrative staff.
Effective July 1, Jennifer Euker will be assuming the role of Principal at Buhach Colony High School.
Euker comes from a long line of educators and has two children in education herself. A long-time Mercedian, she attended local schools from Charles Wright Elementary to Merced Community College. Over her teaching career, Mrs. Euker taught various grade levels beginning at the Weaver School District and later joining the staff at Merced High School.
“I love learning and every aspect of the school environment,” Euker said. “I believe it takes every one of us to ensure students learn and are successful at the next level, and I look forward to working with the team at Buhach Colony High School and being a positive role model.”
Euker’s administrative career has spanned 10 years; five at Wilson Middle School in Chowchilla and five at Golden Valley High School where she received recognition for her work as the Associate Principal of Guidance.
“Jennifer is an outstanding advocate for students and top-notch administrator, having been recognized in 2018 from the Merced County Office of Education as Merced County’s Administrator of the Year,’ said MUHSD Superintendent Alan Peterson. “Mrs. Euker will provide strong leadership to the mighty Thunder staff and students.”
