Hundreds of residents made their way to the first annual Woofstock vendor fair and food truck festival to support the organization New Beginnings For Merced County Animals.

Held at the Tarmac in the Castle Commerce Center on Saturday, the festival brought together dozens of local businesses under a ’60s-themed event with live music, a beer garden, and gift baskets created by local residents that were sold in support of services to improve animal life and pet ownership.

Highlighting the event was a spectacular raffle that gave locals a chance to walk away with a 70-inch flat screen TV, or a weekend getaway at Vision Quest Ranch Safari Bed and Breakfast in Monterey, along with dinner certificates for the Chart House Restaurant and four passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
