Santa Claus rode into town last Saturday on a big, red City of Merced fire truck, and he received a very merry welcome at his destination: the Merced Mall.
Little elves from Denisa’s School of Dance cheered from the sidewalk, and then led the big guy to the Mall’s center stage where they performed a few dance routines for him and their many family members in attendance.
Santa told everyone that he has decided to stay for awhile, and he’s ready for photos and visits at the Mall, every day, and all the way through Christmas Eve.
There will also be Paws & Claws Pet Photos on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
