Sailors, friends enjoy cool breeze, bounty of shrimp

The Lake Yosemite Sailing Association held their annual Shrimp Feed last Saturday. Held on the shores of Lake Yosemite, the event coincided with beautifully clear skies and cooling winds. A capacity crowd showed up to support the club’s numerous community activities.

While the scrumptious seafood was the evening’s highlight, there were numerous other activities. Those who wanted to take to the waters of Lake Yosemite were invited to do so on sail boats right up until dinner. Those looking to stay on land were invited to tour the Lake Yosemite Sailing Association’s facilities, try their luck with a raffle and dessert auction, or dance to live music. For the youngest attendees, a bounce house and an open lawn to play catch in provided hours of fun.
