As of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020, there are 14,058 confirmed cases (+207 from Tuesday) of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Merced County. Approximately 2,521 of those cases are active, and 201 have died.
Three deaths were reported since the last report 24 hours ago on Tuesday night. Those who passed include two females and one male. All were age 65 or older.
• As of Dec. 9, a total of 83,808 tests have been performed in Merced County: 14,058 of those tests are confirmed as positive cases.
