The annual Dance Kaleidoscope show returned to the Merced College Theatre with plenty of color and flair last Saturday.
It was an opportunity for local dance companies and student dancers to highlight some of their best creative work during an on-stage, in-person, live event for the entire community.
After a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dance Kaleidoscope returned to the Merced College Theatre last Saturday, Feb. 19.
Created by the Merced Dance Teachers Cooperative and Merced College Presents, the show continues to offer a collection of dance performances that represent some of the best creative work being performed by local troupes.
They include: Denisa’s School of Dance, Mariposa Academy of Performing Arts, Merced Academy of Dance, South Pacific Dance Company, and Steps Dance Studio.
Funds generated from the event also go to Merced College scholarships and theater improvements.
