It’s a Mardi Gras Celebration at Merced County Fair’s Annual Pre-Party

Fundraiser takes places Feb. 23

The Merced County Fair Board, Friends of the Merced County Fair Board and Merced County Fair Management want the entire community to join them to kick off the 2024 Fair season at its Annual Merced County Fair Pre-Party and Membership Dinner!

The dinner fundraiser will take place on Friday, February 23 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. in the Yosemite Hall at the Merced County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $75 per person and includes dinner by Friends of the Fair Board Member Joe Pedrozo, a hosted bar, live music and entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffle items and more. Attendees must be 21 years old.

New this year, tickets must be purchased online at www.mercedcountyfair.com/pre-party. No tickets will be sold at the door.

“To gather as a community and kick off the 2024 Fair season with over 400 attendees who love and support our Fair is just so incredible,” says Teresa Burrola, CEO Merced County Fair. “Our annual pre-party has become quite the event to attend and all proceeds will support our non-profit foundation’s various capital improvement projects on our fairgrounds.”

Preferred Parking Passes will also be on sale at the Pre-Party for Friends of the Fair Members only; limit one per membership. Preferred Parking Passes are $200 and provides access to the on-grounds parking lot on the corner of G and Childs all five days of the Merced County Fair. Preferred Parking Passes are for Lot A only.

Then, beginning on April 2 at 8:00 a.m., Preferred Parking Passes will be available for purchase to everyone at the Fair Administration Office. Passes will be limited to one per household and a person from that household must be the individual purchasing the pass in person at the Fair Administration Office. There will be Preferred Parking Passes allocated for both sales.
