The new exhibit, “A Century of Great Crimes in Merced County” opened last week at the Merced County Courthouse Museum with a great turnout of local residents and history buffs.
Examining crimes and cases in the first 100 years of our county history, this exhibit presents an interesting story about what crimes took place, where they were reported and tried, and how some of these decisions made lasting changes in the American judicial system.
The exhibit will run through Oct. 20.
FREE ADMISSION. The museum is located at 21st and N streets. Hours are: Wed. – Sun., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
For more information about the exhibit, please contact the Courthouse Museum at 723-2401.
