Fun Run Colors Path Through Livingston

The City of Livingston Recreation Commission and the Livingston Union High School District came together on May 11 to host their first annual 5K Color Run.

Starting at Livingston Middle School on Robin and F Street, the event drew hundreds of excited runners, families, and residents from surrounding cities to take part in the colorful event.

Prior to the start of the color run, elected officials and race organizers thanked those in attendance before pulling the crowd together to throw balls of colorful powder into the air to start the race and adorn the runners.

Throughout the route, including city streets and park paths, five different color stations were setup where runners could add another layer of color to their running gear before eventually making their way back to Livingston Middle School to cross the finish line.
