Merced’s Courthouse Museum was packed with people for the 39th Annual Christmas Open House. More than 800 people showed up for the event, officials reported.
The museum was filled with trees decorated by local organizations, and families flocked to enjoy the festive displays and performances last Sunday afternoon, Dec. 3.
The open house included performances from Maxwell, Don, and Jesse, Our Lady of Mercy School Christmas Choir, Sandra Stocking’s Flute Group, Merced Baroque Sinfonia, St. Paul School Choir, and Bear Creek Ukulele Society. Christmas cookies and the courthouse’s famous eggnog were included in the free event.
The display of over 75 trees will remain on display until December 30.
