FFA and 4-H students proved this week that the fondness and pride for this region’s agricultural community continues at Merced County Fair as a longstanding tradition.
The fairgrounds’ Dairy Ring, Glacier Ring, Hilmar Cheese Barn and Les McCabe Arena are bustling with livestock activity and young people eager to show their skills. Most of the competitions are held in the morning before the fair doors open to the public, including Saturday’s Junior Livestock Auction presented by American Ag Credit. However, all fair visitors can stop by and see the show animals.
The Merced County Fair and all the fun continues through Sunday, June 12.
