By day, Eric Stephen Bocks is a fifth generation farmer. His family has been farming in Le Grand since 1974. By night, Eric is a composer, singer and songwriter bringing original musicals to the Merced area for the last twenty years. Now, after raising his children, he is pursuing his music career.
Last year he went to Nashville and recorded his new album, To Share the World.
His music combines jazz, rock, pop and country music styles to create what we call “revolutionary pop.” His clear vocals have a smooth soulful finish, a hint of the blues and as always those intricate scat lines take you to a place few artists command.
He is now taking it on the road to share it with the rest of the world.
March 10th at 7:30 p.m. will be his first performance at Merced Theater.
