Advanced Air starting flights to LAS, LAX

Merced’s Essential Air Service provider will fly in and out of main terminals at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Advanced Air, Merced’s Essential Air Service (EAS) provider, announced today that it will begin TSA-secure operations flying in and out of main terminals at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from Merced Yosemite Airport (MCE) beginning May 16. Additionally, the airline announced that discounted bulk ticket packs are now available for purchase.

Using a nine seat King Air 350 and an eight seat Pilatus PC-12, Advanced Air’s schedule will provide 24 weekly flights from Merced to each destination — twelve roundtrips to Terminal 1 at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and twelve roundtrips to Terminal 6 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) — with access to connections via both airports.

Fixed pricing starts at $145 + tax each way or customers can purchase in packets of ten tickets at a discounted ticket price of $138.09 per seat, for an all-inclusive total cost of $1,380.90. Snacks and drinks will be served on all flights.

“We are pleased to provide San Joaquin Valley residents with access to connections in main terminals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and provide a premium product at a discounted rate,” said Levi Stockton, President of Advanced Air. “This has been a long time coming.”
