It’s mid-August and valley music fans are already bracing for Aftershock — the largest rock, punk and metal festival on the West Coast.

Death Metal. Hardcore. Thrash. Grindcore. Metalcore. The four-day event, held at Discovery Park in Sacramento from Oct. 2 to Oct. 5, features over 115 bands across four stages, with an expected 160,000 fans whipped up into a festival frenzy.

Headliners include Blink-182, Korn, Deftones, and Bring Me The Horizon, along with Marilyn Manson, Turnstile, Rob Zombie, Gojira, Lamb of God, Knocked Loose, Mudvayne, Dream Theater, and so many more of the heaviest bands around.
